Wednesday Night Rochester Fit Club is located at Brookside school in Brighton. There are two entrances. The BEST Entrance is off of Winton Rd across from the farm between The 590 ramp and Westfall RD. Look for the Brighton Parks & Recreation Sign.

If you park in the bus loop, enter the front door next to the GREEN Parks and Recreation Sign. Walk straight back until you see the sign for "Multi Purpose Room". We will be in that room.

P90X Rochester Fit Club Does Zumba

The Rochester Fit Club is a group of Independent Team Beachbody Coaches and Customers that get together once a week to workout to a different Beachbody In-Home workout DVD. We have been meeting fairly regularly all year long but decided to break during the month of August. We recently restarted to draw in some fresh blood and excitement, a team member of mine who is Beachbody Coach as well as a Zumba Instructor offered to teach a class. I totally jumped on the opportunity because all I ever hear is how fun Zumba is and that it does not feel like you are exercising. Just watch:

(When I was doing Zumba, I totally had thoughts of Steve Martin and Rick Moranis from My Blue Heaven dancing the merengue in my head. Obviously it made its way into my video.)

So what is Zumba? It's dance, it is exercise, it is hip shaking, and sweat making good time. Zumba is definitely a lot of fun and worth trying at least once. "Zumba is different –The unique Zumba Latin inspired international music and dance steps create a dynamic, exciting and effective fitness system. Non-verbal cuing allows the class to feel the music and movements rather than worrying about what the instructor is going to yell at them next! It’s a fluid program."
